About CVS Telford & Wrekin
CVS Telford & Wrekin’s purpose as a charity is to support, connect and give a voice to local people (children and adults) affected by health, social and economic disadvantage. Our projects include an All Age Carers Centre that supports unpaid family carers – both adult and young carers from the age of 5 years upwards. This is through age appropriate information and activities including a weekly youth club, fun days out and guest speakers.
Telford Autism Hub and Telford Children’s Autism Hub supports adults pre and post autism diagnosis and supports children and families on the pathway and post autism diagnosis. A bespoke Autism Champion training is delivered in conjunction with Autism West Midlands for businesses and organisations to increase awareness and understanding for those with Autism.
SENDIASS Service provides information, advice and guidance surrounding SEND provision for families, often supporting and advocating for families with SEND related challenges. Wellbeing Madeley Community Café is a physical destination where members of the public can meet, hold community groups, receive a Pay It Forward meal or drink, and gain information, advice and guidance.
