About The Sea Change Trust

The Sea Change Trust is a mental health charity based in Shropshire. Our vision is a world where the emotional and psychological needs of children and young people can be met through early interventions in the local community.

We recognise the absence of specialist services in rural areas and want to readdress this situation. We work directly with infants, children, young adults, parents, and carers alongside consultation to professionals working with them. We aim to provide effective therapeutic support, regardless of financial means, background, or status.

We are a team of child specialists, with experience of working in the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across the West Midlands as well as other settings. We support children, young adults, and families by delivering one-to-one specialist psychotherapy and group support sessions. We work closely in partnership with other charities and service providers, ensuring we are able to offer our services to those who are most in need of our support.

Our work to date has helped to lessen the feeling of isolation that so many people have faced during the pandemic, provide support with loneliness and bereavement, reduce levels of anxiety, and prevent a decline in emotional and mental well-being.
