Small Woods are the national charitable organisation for woodland stewardship and care. Over half the UK’s woodlands are neglected, overlooked, under-valued and are in danger of disappearing! Woodlands need our care and protection to realise their potential. When managed and used well, our woodlands are vital to thriving local economies, wildlife, and the wellbeing of communities, as well as hugely valuable in the fight against climate change. Small Woods is a thriving community with a shared passion for UK woodlands. We believe in the environmental, social, economic and cultural benefits of bringing woodlands & people together. We help to maintain, understand, and embrace woodlands for health, helping to protect and care for our woodlands for generations to come. Our woodland wellbeing packages link vulnerable individuals with woodlands for the benefit of their health and wellbeing.
